Fraud is prevalent in different forms in organizations nowadays be it pyramid schemes, currency fraud or even broker embezzlement. It is usually a result of a breach in a security system by hackers or foreign governments trying to access external data. AI as it is commonly known has been used to enhance security for these firms by analyzing the behaviours of different transactions and devices. For years companies such as MasterCard have relied on AIs to prevent fraud.

Data collecting clerks were previously employed by firms to feed data into machines. The challenge that companies are facing is that if they have to feed large amounts of data, they have to employ many workers to achieve this purpose. If they are to avoid this, they have to shift to more convenient methods which will do the same amount of work at a lower cost thus the need for AI.
